1. Site assessment
Confirm the outage pain points and the required “runtime” needed
Check incoming mains layout, space, access, noise considerations
Identify best tie-in point, bypass strategy, and any compliance constraints
2. System design (fit-for-purpose)
Tank sizing (typical: 1,000–10,000L depending on household + outage patterns). As a simple planning guide each person in a household potentially consumes 250l per day. So for a 4 person household, requiring 3 days of back up you would require a 3000l storage system (4pax x 3 days x 250l = 3000 litres)
Pump and pressure approach (quiet, reliable boosting) and bypass manifold
Filtration add-ons where and when needed (sediment, carbon, etc.)
3. Professional installation
Tank linked to mains line with automatic filling
Correct isolation and changeover capability (bypass)
Neat pipework, proper foundations, commissioning + handover
4. Maintenance
Low-maintenance by design; if filtration is installed, filter changes and periodic checks are the main ongoing items.
